Unveiling the New Forest

Our properties sit on the edge of the New Forest National Park, which is a haven for walkers, cyclers and nature lovers. We are happy to provide recommendations on what to do or where to go.

  • There are plenty of quaint pubs and restaurants in the vicinity of our properties but here are some of our recommendations, in case you are spoilt for choice.
  • Elm Tree: A traditional pub in Ringwood with a big garden and real fire, serving real ale, steak pie and fish and chips.
  • The Alice Lisle: A rural pub, just outside of Ringwood, with a beautiful view that makes an ideal spot for lunch after a walk or cycle through the New Forest.
  • The Boathouse: An idyllic child-friendly restaurant, set on the banks of the River Stour, overlooking Christchurch harbour.
  • The White Buck: In the heart of The New Forest, located on the edge of Burley.
  • The Pig: A country house hotel and one of the highiest rated places to eat in the country.
